Positive: Perfect location, as indicated by photos.
Negative: There were no functioning locks on either of the two exterior gates, or on the main door into the building on the 3rd floor. For a female traveler, I think this would be worrisome. The entrance is in a back parking lot, surrounded by a gate that blocks any view from the street, and is quite dark. I assume these locks are not the direct responsibility of the owner, but the security could be hugely improved and yield greater peace of mind.
Summary: Nicely renovated apartment with sublime view of the beach.

Positive: Lovely apartment with superb view of the beach. The apartment was bright and the living-room area was roomy. Convenient location with an easy walk to town.
Negative: a lift would have been nice with the luggage but it worked.
