Summary: The place is beautiful and peaceful. We loved the overall concept and idea of the bird house. We just wish it was cleaner. When we got there there were several lizards, spider webs & spiders inside and outside of the cabin. The sofa was stained. My kids thought the bathroom was cool and different, but the quality of the water was bad and sometimes the toilet wouldn't flush. The listing says that sleeps 4, but it's better for the 4th person to sleep on an air mattress to be able to sleep comfortably. There were 3 tiny beds and one sofa. My family and I felt uncomfortable going for a walk (hiking) because there were a lot of "Private Property" signs every where and we didn't wanted to invade someone else's property. This property is located in a nice area near several wonderful national parks and places to hike. We visited the Fanning Springs state park and had a great time. The property manager, Michael, was great. He was friendly and was always available and prompt to answer any questions. Last, we wished we were able to lock the cabin. I understand the nature of the bird house, but it would have given us a peace of mind at night to go to sleep. Overall, I would do it again. My family and I really hard a great time exploring nature, making the bonfire and playing board games at night. We are even planning a trip to invite other friends and rent the 2 cabins next door.

Summary: If you like to camp, but hate packing tents, grill, this is the perfect solution. It has the fire pit, grill, mini fridge, and power! right off the river for canoes. A boat ramp not too far away.

Summary: My boyfriend and I came down to tube ginnie springs and this property was the icing on the cake for getting close to "off the grid." We enjoyed our stay very much. Being right on the river was perfect for falling asleep. We heard lots of owls. We made use of the firepit and charcoal grill. The only thing that I would note is there are a few other tiny homes/cabins in close proximity. We were there during the week so we had it all to ourselves but not so sure that would be the case on a weekend.

Summary: We had a wonderful time! They represented it and communicated well so we knew what to expect and were prepared. For example, the GPS not taking you right there and the toilet being located away from the house. It was as clean as to be expected camping outdoors in a screened house. It was peaceful and beautiful. We watched the sunset and sunrise from the dock, roasted s’mores over a campfire, and listened to the birds and crickets as we fell asleep. Loved it!

Summary: Came for a weekend getaway with my husband. Enjoyed the privacy and off the grid feeling. Loved listening to the owls and crickets at night. Perfect glamping experience. We brought our jet skis and launched at several boat ramps and enjoyed the river and its gators and turtles. Perfect and well needed R&R!

Summary: We picked the perfect weather and time I guess, because everything was awesome. We really could’ve slept in or out of the cover at night and have been in comfort either way. It was relaxing, quiet, teaming with wildlife and the river was beautiful. The owner “Michael” was easy to deal with and very prompt to answer questions. We had a very rare need to contact him, because everything we needed was there. It was a great time for myself, wife and our children. It would be an AWESOME get away for a couple only. I have all ideas we will explore that option too. It was so nice in fact, we decided to stay an extra night. We give it 👍🏻👍🏻

Summary: My only suggestion would be to clean up the bathroom. It was a very cool experience and I was very appreciative of them letting me keep my boat at the dock.

Summary: My parents and sister rented the cabins next door so all of the kiddos and I stayed in the Birdhouse. We heard owls every night, removed lizards that returned every day like clock work, told bedtime stories and watched the sun come up one morning. We fished, canoes, walked trails and played in the waterfall nearby. We bundled up to watch the rain from our beds playing Uno. It was perfect for midnight bedtimes and memories that will last forever.
