Summary: Svartaborg was the perfect place to celebrate 30 years with my wife. I needed help with a surprise piece of jewelry waiting for us when we arrived and Rósa went out of her way to make that happen. She even delivered on her promise the lights would be there the night of our anniversary.

Summary: Beautiful, peaceful location and well equipped accommodation for a lovely relaxing stay. Appreciated the attention to detail (for example black out curtains for the door - handy as we were there mid summer when sun doesn’t set). They also responded very quickly to correct the bed configuration. Will be back!

Summary: My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room scent, cookbook for reference... ) And the hot-tub!! I think I want to re-visit Iceland just to use this place's hot-tub. Everything was so perfect and lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
