From the moment you walk into Rose Drive, you will feel relaxed. This home has a great layout to accommodate up to 12 people in beds and the lake is viewable from every room in the 3000sf house. The main level features a newly remodeled kitchen that opens to a spacious dining room with amazing views. The great room is filled with sunlight and three walls of windows looking out at the water. Also on the first floor is a full bath, laundry room, and den with a pull-out sofa. Off the living room is a three-tiered deck with lounge chairs, a picnic table, and plenty of room to relax.
The 2nd level of the home features four bedrooms and two full baths.
- Primary suite with queen bed, crib, balcony, and full bathroom.
- Bed 2 has a queen bed.
- Bed 3 has two sets of twin bunks that sleeps 4 people.

The outside of the home is just as great, if not better than the inside. On the lake, there is 50' of sandy beach with zero-depth entry. There is a 60' dock for fishing, diving, or parking your boat should you bring one.
On the opposite side of the home, there is ample parking and a basketball court.

Summary: For the past 2 years we have stayed in this house. We love everything about our stay. The lake and house are perfect for our extended family vacation. Our kids look forward to our annual stay. They play for hours in the sand and swim in the lake.

Summary: We had an amazing family vacation. The house and beach were perfectly set up for a family with small children. There was room on the dock for our boat and the beach was freshly raked with lots of room for kids to play. The hosts were very responsive to our MANY questions. The lake was peaceful and the neighbors were friendly!

Summary: Every year we go on vacation with my husband's family, including his 94 year old grandma. This house was the perfect fit for us with the den/bedroom being on the main level and the good size dining are where we were all able to eat dinner together. Our kids loved the sandy beach as well as fishing off the pier and swimming in the lake. This made it easy for this mama to grab a lounge chair and actually relax for once. After this trip we have decided this the house to rent for many years to come.

Summary: The house was what was discribed but in a not so great condition - ripped sofa cushions, lumpy mattresses, randome holes in walls... Not something I would expect for the price we paid per night! You are right on the lake and it's great, but the pictures are a bit misleading - your piece of beach is much smaller and other houses are right next to you... The host was very hospitable and happy to help with any questions, but the place overall is too expensive for what you get.

Summary: Absolutely a stellar experience. We rarely left the property. Spent most of the time in the kayaks, swimming, fishing, playing in the backyard. The house is very spacious. Plenty of room to spread out and chill. The grill and patio eating space makes it perfect for families.

Summary: We had an incredible relaxing week on Barron Lake. The house sits on a beautiful lake and has a sandy zero entry beach that stays shallow for a good distance. Kayaks, chairs and noodles are included and the 3 level deck is wonderful. The house itself is well maintained and has plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen is large and is stocked with all cooking essentials. Highly recommend.

Summary: It was a great weekend even with all the rain and lighting we received. My family and I loved the back room with all the windows over the lake. I was incredible to see all the lightning over the water. Family room was our meeting place and our extended family had was able to reconnected from all over the country. I would absolutely rent the home again if allowed, and it was only 20 or so from the ND Campus.

Summary: I spent an extended weekend at Jamie’s property with a bunch of friends for a girls retreat. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The lake is beautiful, neighbors were fantastic and the house is super spacious and perfectly functional for what we needed. All of us had such a great time we are already talking about possibly returning next year!
