Positive: Entire studio unit was clean with toiletries, slippers, kettle, microwave and mini fridge. Really near the ski base of karakol if you’re visiting in winter or summer. Friendly hosts that helped us with laundry.

Positive: This is basically a very cute and small lodge located in the back of the owner’s property, so you won’t see it straight away from the street but it’s easy to find anyway. The lodge is very cozy and super clean, and it has everything you might need during the days in the mountains: small microwave and small kitchen sink, hairdryer, tv, etc. Very conveniently located to the main hiking trails, and parking is available. We loved it! We also needed to do a laundry and the owner was super kind and took care of it at a very reasonable price.
Negative: Nothing to flag here, everything was perfect

Positive: The property is in the back garden of someone’s home. So whilst the photos look great of the accommodation, you actually front the shedding of the goats and sheep that live in the back garden as well. It’s a lively spacious accommodation which is great value however there are numerous points which you should know before booking. 1. There is frequently no water supply. 2. There are frequent power cuts. 3. The water is heated at night and is cold if you take a morning shower. . 4. There is no washing machine (I think this was advertised). 5. There are no bowls, no hand towel or drying towel for the dishes. 6. There is nothing in the immediate area. 7. There is some kind of pump that goes off constantly all night. so if you’re a light sleeper your doomed. The hosts are very responsive. They didn’t speak English, and Google Translate worked fine. It’s a lovely stay. Just a number of issues to detract. On balance, i’d say stay somewhere else due to the loss of sleep

Positive: The accommodation is very quiet and private, but at the same time the lady host is always available if you need anything. The location is perfect as it's near the final stop of marshrutka (mini-bus) #101 that goes to the city centre. It costs 20 soms and runs every 10 minutes, we didn't need a car. The location is perfect for hikers as one can easily go to Karakol gorge or the ski resort where one can take a chairlift all the way up to 3040 m and enjoy amazing views. We got Yandex taxi to go there and walked back to the accommodation. The cabin is very secluded and surrounded by beautiful nature, we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings watching the sunset and listening to the waterfall.
Negative: The water pressure was a bit low (hence 9 stars), but I understand it's a temporary problem and it will be fixed soon.
