Positive: Lovely little apartment. Very clean and private. Thoughtful touches by the host.

Positive: The host was responsive. Apartment has washer and dryer and kitchen has everything you need for self catering. Nevertheless, we cannot quite understand previous reviews, unless people have been reviewing a different apartment (there is at least one more on site)
Negative: There was a huge issue with water leaking and rising damp. Damage to the wall from the leaking shower shows it has been happening for some time. We had to use towels on the floor next to the bed where the worst of the water pooled, as well as on the kitchen tiles. Various places throughout the unit would suddenly be damp (we assume coming up from underneath). These water issues and the mould in the shower gave the whole apartment a bit of a smell which was quite noticeable. There was nothing the host would have been able to do about the issue while we were there (given the issue wasn't new) and we were not in a position to move on. Harsh limits on heating would be difficult in winter (perhaps should be made known prior to booking). Lounge curtains too small (didn't cover the windows) and there is a tenant next door walking past from time to time (who was also working with a digger over the driveway).

Positive: Excellent location, few minutes from Lisdoonvarna and an easy drive to Lahinch, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher etc. Very well equipped, it has all you need. Private space, towels, some food provided.
Negative: The pillows are not very comfortable. Also I arrived on a cold damp night. The hosts knew I was coming and it’s a pity they didn’t put the heat on to have it warm. My second night was lovely as I had the heat timed to come on during the day.

Positive: From the very first moment of our arrival until the day of our departure, everything was simply wonderful. The host was very attentive from the beginning, explained everything in detail, and fulfilled all his promises. Even though we do not speak English very well, we were treated with great patience and kindness. We often had to ask the same questions two or three times, and each time everything was calmly and clearly explained to us. The house pleasantly surprised us — everything inside was of a very high standard and thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest details. We especially appreciated the attention to detail, including the availability of women’s hygiene products, for which we are very grateful. The location of the house is perfect: quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxation, and at the same time close to all the main attractions, which we truly enjoyed visiting. If there is an opportunity and you do not mind, we would be very happy to stay in your apartments again. With great respect, Kalina and Viktor
