Positive: The property is located between Pisa and Florence with a few restaurants just 500m away near the ceramics museum. We wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not too far away from either the city or the airport. The property is lovely and well kept. The hosts are friendly and very helpful.
Negative: Breakfast was good enough although some cheese and ham for toast would have been appreciated for a more diverse choice. Our room had a private bathroom but the shared bathroom for the other rooms was right next to ours with a key that made too much noise when used. We were woken up at 3am when other guests wanted to use the bathroom. Also the mattresses need changing as they were a little uncomfortable.
Summary: We loved our stay at Sweet Emilie and would stay again

Positive: There aren’t enough words to describe how spectacular this place was. The host was so lovely and the bnb was outstanding. The gardens were beautiful, the home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen had everything you need and an amazing array of breakfast treats. The bedroom was like a boutique hotel and everything was fantastic and super comfortable. For anyone visiting the Pisa/Florence area with a car, this stay is a must! Great value for money, I just wish we had more than one night! Thank you so much for a great stay!!

Positive: Starting with the facilities, everything at Sweet Emily B&B felt brand new. The two beds were perfectly sized and very comfortable. There was also a lovely, soft blue single sofa that added a stylish touch to the room. All the decor, including the bedside lamps, blended beautifully with the overall room design. One of the highlights was the large private balcony—it offered a stunning, peaceful view of Tuscany’s lush green summer landscape. The bathroom was spacious, fully equipped with a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, and plenty of thick towels. Although the private bathroom is located just outside the room, it’s so close that it didn’t cause any inconvenience at all. The breakfast was another unforgettable part of our stay. It was self-service, but that didn’t affect the quality at all—in fact, it made the experience feel even more relaxed and homey. Every afternoon, the host would go into town to buy the freshest ingredients for the next morning. In the shared dining area, there was a wide variety of cakes (incredibly tasty & well-chosen, changes every day), breads, and sweets, along with an almost unlimited supply of coffee from the self-service machine. The fridge was stocked with high-quality cheeses, ham, milk, yogurt, juices, and fresh fruits—those Italian grapes were incredibly sweet! There were also fresh eggs available, and guests were welcome to cook their own egg dishes, like omelets or scrambled eggs. The entire breakfast experience had a warm, homemade touch that made us feel truly cared for. Beyond the room and the breakfast, what I especially want to praise is the shared space at the B&B. It felt so warm and welcoming, almost like stepping into the home of a kind and loving Tuscan family. There’s a piano, a guitar, a huge communal table for chatting, soft couches and all kinds of cozy chairs with cushions. There’s also a large TV and a great selection of board games.

Positive: Very good accommodation. Distance: 8-10 minutes to the train station. We got up early in the morning to visit as much of Tuscany as we could. Although breakfast was not included, there was always something in the fridge or on the table for a quick snatch. Butter with jam was my favorite as the jam was locally made.
