Positive: The apartment is well appointed, with a metro nearby, is modern and spacious, with 3 separate bedrooms, especially for such a central area. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and well appointed (enough dishes and utensils, dish washer, washing machine). There was enough room for all of us (2 parents + 3 large young adult boys/men) with a dining table to accommodate us. The master bedroom was quiet (facing an inner courtyard), the bed comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and clean. After receiving the door codes, it was very accessible by multiple people in our party, so we could independently explore the city.
Negative: 1) The issue was that the door codes were not released until 15 minutes prior to check in. Having arrived on time with bags on the sidewalk, I could not receive the door codes despite multiple attempts with different phones, different servers, etc. without proper Wifi, & using hot spots, etc. It took 20 minutes of going back and forth with Sweett's WhatsApp for someone (possibly a real agent) to finally screen shot the door locks. This was incredibly frustrating, given that they could have given us the screen shot codes upon first attempt with Sweett's WhatsApp. 2) Despite having been given the Wifi code via email, upon arrival inside apartment, there was no Wifi and the network was not visible. Once again, with Sweett's chat, they informed me to reset the router which would be by the tv. However, the box not the router. I sent them photos of 2 boxes, one of which was on a bookshelf, which was indeed the router. After that the Wifi worked. 3) After starting a load of laundry, I noticed there was no drying rack or clothing line to hang clothes outside the windows (as can be found in other European cities). Again, I contacted Sweett's chat, who then asked me to search the area around the washing machine (it was in a galley kitchen, with no other cupboards for storage other than kitchen stuff), the closets, and under the beds. They asked if someone could come by with it if we were not present, as they could not confirm exactly the time someone would drop off the rack. We agreed and put our valuables in the safe provided in the master bedroom. 4) We tried to retrieve our valuables later that day (money & passports), however the safe would not open, with an error message. After multiple attempts, we contacted Sweett again. It took them 2 days sending 2 separate engineers to finally open the safe the night before we had to leave. We were so stressed about this that we had to call Booking.com who helped immensely.
Summary: Spacious clean centrally located flat, with multiple service problems.

Positive: It was very easy to check in using the codes provided by the host. Host is very responsive through WhatsApp. The location was great- walking distance from Le Marais and close to central metro stations and supermarkets. AC units work perfect during our stay (we had few very hot days). A big apartment which meets family needs. The area felt very safe.

Positive: Space was as described. Good location.
Negative: Elevator was inoperable—had to carry suitcases up wobbly wooden steps with loose hand railing which felt unsafe. One refrigerator wasn’t working. Not enough toiletries for the number of guests. Only a handful of hangers, not nearly enough for the number of guests and duration of stay. Loud interior neighbors.

Positive: Location of Sweett - Bastille is perfect. Near, bus, metro, cafés, restaurants, and shops. Comfortable beds and good lighting.
Negative: The lift was not working and has not been working for some time. False advertisement on booking.com. Very narrow and weak planks on the stairs leading to the 4th floor. Dim lighting to no lighting in the stairwell leading to all apartments. The apartment has 4 water closets with soap in only two. Spiral staircase in the apartment with no way to get luggage to the upper bedrooms. Very few mirrors and no mirrors in the wash rooms. Loads of furniture in a small place, although comfortable, way too bulky for the small space. There is no place in the apartment or the building to store your luggage after checkout. You must go to a different Sweett location to store your luggage; which is only open from 10am-6pm. Zero help from the company to get you to that storage location. Way too expensive for what you get.
Summary: A couple wins followed by loads of losses

Positive: Very convenient, cosy and practical apartment. It had everything we needed and more, very impressive. Staff was very responsive and helpful. The only flaw was the street noise you could hear in one of the bedrooms at the street side. And the couch was not super comfy, but you don’t come to Paris to hang on the sofa, so it was not a big deal.
