Summary: This property is amazing with a wood stove to keep cozy, very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and wonderful outdoor space. We stayed with our pups and had a very nice time walking the property and surrounding area. Highly recommend!

Summary: Wonderful way to kick off the NY and enjoy coastal winter on the island. The Cabin is well appointed, cozy and bright, even on a winter's day. We enjoyed everything the property had to offer, but due to snow, had to save the campfire and outdoor shower for another day. Karen was wonderful to deal with, supported our inquiries about the area, and has a lovely property. We'll be back!

Summary: Our family of four had a lovely stay at The Cabin. We enjoyed being a little bit off the beaten path, the peacefulness, and the private access to the Oyster River. The Cabin is well appointed and comfortable, and the outdoor shower and large lawn was enjoyed by our kids. Karen was easy to communicate with and we had no problems.

Summary: We loved how peaceful and relaxing the property was. It was beautiful inside and out! A nice walk down to the river, a large deck, a nice firepit area, an amazing bathtub. Summary: This place and Karen as a host was all we could dream of. We felt so taken care of both before, during and after our stay. A wonderful easterbasket met us at the kitchen table when we arrived, and we so enjoined a few days of fealing at home in this cozy cabin by the fireplace, at the porch with a look to the river or while cocking in the well equiped kitchen - if we ever come back to Vancouver Island, this will be the place to stay

Summary: Lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable cabin in the woods. Exactly what we needed for a refresh and recharge and some much needed quality time. The cabin and property were beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire place and short walk to the river. There was games for us and our toddler, space for our dog to stretch his legs and play outside. Well stocked, bright kitchen with bonus snacks and a thoughtful welcome basket with wine and bread starter to make your own homemade loaf! Close to Strathcona and the beach. We didn’t want for anything. A special place to stay.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous cabin. The cabin is well stocked with kitchen items for cooking and a pleasure to cook in. We enjoyed the huge deck and the surroundings are so peaceful. A wonderful haven to return to after a day of activities.
