Positive: A fully equipped, tiny abode. Clean with everything you need. We were welcomed by a friendly note from the owner that was placed on top of a tasty, homemade pastry.
Negative: A single cabin, located in the middle of nowhere albeit with a well-stocked minimart only 5 minutes driving away.
Summary: After stocking up on groceries, this is a excellent place for a stopover.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth — the entire host family welcomed us, which instantly made us feel at home. Inside, the cottage was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with every modern comfort. What truly made the stay special, though, were the personal touches: a handwritten welcome note and a homemade pie called "Happy Marriage" waiting for us on the table — such a sweet and memorable gesture! The location was peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing and unwinding after exploring the surrounding area, the quality of the cottage itself and the hospitality we received made the experience exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy, modern base in Iceland with hosts who truly care. We'd happily return!

Positive: Cabin was compact, but the use of space was very efficient with lots of storage and all kitchen utensils. We were a family of 3 (including my 15 year old) and we were comfortable. The third bed is an adjustment, but we were all fine. On arrival, there was a special homemade Icelandic cake. The cake was excellent. Location, comfort, and value for money, I will rate the cabin high for each of these.
Negative: There was nothing I disliked.

Positive: We really loved to stay in this holiday house. The house was located in a beautiful and peacefull area. The view was great. The holiday house is between the Secret Lagoon that we visited and the village Selfoss. The holiday house was complete with own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, it had all the facilities we needed. Even more than we expected. It was super clean and everything was new. The hostess was very kind. We can recommend this holiday house.
