Positive: The location was fabulous, right next to Taha Park, the open area with Moai you can enter without permit and use your walk to town and the seawater swimming lido in 15 minutes. The most beautiful place for sunsets on the island and in rooms 1,2,3,4, easily viewed from the terrace. Lovely addition of continental breakfast with eggs brought to our room each morning. Next to one of the best restaurants with wonderful sunset views and good food. Staff at lodge all very pleasant and helpful.

Negative: Roosters will wake you up very early, but not a problem in our case as were up early ourselves. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Great aircon and excellent hot water pressure in shower.

Positive: Loved our room, fabulous views from the deck. The chickens were fun. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were lovely

Negative: No body lotion in the bathroom. Only able to get milk at the breakfast so although there were tea and coffee making facilities there was no milk.

Negative: Pushy chickens which, apparently, don’t belong to the lodge. Actually quite amusing

Positive: Outstanding location , The Moai Statues is watching you so close to the Lodge, you will see how precious is the breakfast every morning - so delicious and very good looking with all necessary and healty ingredients : eggs, ham, local bread , bitter, jam, fruits, milk, coffee, tea, yoghurt, cookies ! After all, the Lodge is so, so clean and you will see how rare is this in Hanga Roa !!! The owner of the hotel is very kind and helpful , they help us with car for rent and everything we asked for ! The Terrace is one of the strenght of the room : you can see the Moai Sunset right from the terrace , which is fantastic ! The room was clean, cozy, bog enough, elegant bathroom , A Big THANK YOU, Takarua Lodge! And that wonderful goodbye gift , how we love it !!!

Positive: The location is amazing as it is perfect to see the sunset and it is in walkable distance from the centre but yet in a quiet area. Moreover, breakfast in bed is such a nice luxury and we loved sitting in our patio enjoying it! The staff is very nice and friendly! It’s definitely worth it!

Positive: The location cannot be beat, incredible views of Moai directly from the hotel. Staff were all very kind and accommodating of my zero Spanish. The room was more spacious than expected and the a/c unit was very effective.

Negative: If would be nice if there were a bar or restaurant on property, but the place next door is delicious.
