Positive: The setting in middle of downtown Talkeetna. The history within the building. Cozy bedrooms and great clawfoot bathtub. Lots of sweet details and surprises, including a dog-care pack and fresh chocolate chip cookies in the evening. Loved the space to play card games downstairs.

Positive: The roadhouse was cozy. Like staying over at a family place. The host was friendly. She was early at the bus drop off point to pick us.

Negative: We were looking forward to try their bakes from the bakery but it was only open on weekends. However, the host gave us some cookies which were delicious.

Positive: The upstairs suite was perfect for our family of six. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the in-town location was perfect. There are several common areas to read, play games, visit and hang-out. We felt quite at home during our stay.
