All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The trash can is located in the small shed off to left side of the house, if you are looking directly at the house.
The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for families or groups of friends. It features three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it the perfect home away from home.
The first bedroom is perfect for kids or young adults, with a full-over-full bunk bed and a full trundle, providing plenty of sleeping space. Summary: The moment we walked in, we all said, “wow”. It was the perfect place for our group of 4, to come for the weekend and go to a VT football game. The house is very clean, very comfortable, and easy access from 81. The view from the house is outstanding and the dock was probably one of the biggest we’ve ever seen. We enjoyed sitting on the rooftop deck having a cocktail and listening to the ducks. We loved every piece of this home, except a few things to share: 1. We had no hot water in the secondary bathroom to shower. 2. The bottom stove does not work as well as the upper stove, unless the bottom one is a warming oven. If so, that should be noted. We tried to cook our baked ziti and the bottom stove never got above 325… an hour later, we realized it wasn’t cooking. 3. Not enough bowls and spoons in kitchen Other than that, it was superb! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to rent Tall Oaks again in the future. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!

Summary: We could not have enjoyed our stay at Tall Oaks more! The house was very nicely updated recently and extremely comfortable with a great setup for a family. The outside areas were amazing between the deck, hot tub, dock, etc. The house was also easy to get to from the highway which is not always the case at Claytor. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Summary: My Fiancée and I just loved staying at this property! The location was easily found off the interstate. The house and furnishings were gorgeous! We are even looking for the same Serta mattress as we slept like logs! We are just looking for a reason to go back and we know it won’t be long!!
