Positive: Wow what a beautiful place . Great location . Everything was very clean very well equipped .

Negative: No bin in the kitchen or baking trays only the grill tray . Dog hairs on socks when walking around ( couldn’t see any )

Positive: the location was nice, the shops were ok. would have been better if more were open(out of season so thats on me for not checking) good atmosphere in the local pub and was welcomed in the local shops. didn't take ay pictures of the property but pics attached are from the surrounding village. the pic of the wave is the beach when the tide is in lol.

Negative: As I was traveling on my own with a pet it was a bit difficult getting my luggage to and from the car esp when I was not allowed to leave my dog unattended in the property, the parking was a 10 to 15min walk as described BUT the walk to the car park was up a steep hill( i live in Suffolk and its very flat so not used to the hills) ok getting back to the property though.

Summary: Nice place but left early (stayed 4 out of 7 nights) weather turned bad so decided to cut it short.

Positive: The facilities in Talland House were excellent! Every room was en suite and had its own radiator for personal control of ambient room temperatures. The kitchen had every utensil you'd need and a separate fridge and freezer.

Negative: I was the only driver. I'm 100kg (15st.10lbs), 74, and I have asthma. It's not possible to get a family car adjacent to Talland House due to narrow streets. Its owner rents parking space at Elm Cottage at the top of the very steep descent to the village of Polperro in which Talland House is sited. There's a luggage transfer service for £15 by way of quad or trike bikes with room for one adult passenger to facilitate the transfer of luggage to and then into Talland House. The rest of us (two adults and a pre-schooler aged 3) were able to descend to the House with caution. The next day was a different kettle of fish. As the only driver, I had to climb the very steep hill to get to my car so we could go for some provisions. It's too steep for an unfit 74-year-old with asthma! I suffered for it the first day and each subsequent day and drove halfway down to pick up the family, daily.

Summary: Polperro village seaside like Port Wenn in Doc Martin.

Positive: We loved our stay, located right in the heart of the village. Really liked the fact that each bedroom had their own shower. An added bonus of some outside space.

Negative: Attic room bathroom dodgy light switch, plus lino in bathroom trip hazard. Small double bedroom loose toilet seat, duvet cover stained and ripped plus pillow ripped, needs new bedding. Dining room rug curled so a trip hazard Front door sticky due being warped, hard to open at times. Little extras like a hand wash in each bathroom would be nice. Fridge being on would have been nice on arrival All clocks not working, just needing a new battery.
