Positive: Staff (esp. Kim) went above and beyond straightening out a scheduling issue with the booking not crossing over from Booking.com and made sure we got our room, especially since we actually came to stay to attend a funeral for a family member). Very clean, great price. The only negative I could say is the shower was not the greatest (old shower head that needs replacing if i had to pick one negative). Bed was comfortable, room was nice especially for the price. If you are looking for fancy, this is not your place. If you want small, mom and pop type place that reminds you of old Nags Head before the huge beach houses arrived then this is your place. Would definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommend.
Summary: Reminded me of the good Old Nags head before the huge mansions took over.

Positive: Great value for impromptu beach trip with friends. Had an end unit which made parking easier - some units are limited to parallel in front of unit. The fridge was a good size to store drinks. The motel had cute renovations and wasn’t horribly dated like some spots. Check in was seamless, all info conveyed via phone app. Unit accessed via a code on the door. Ice machine worked to fill up water bottles.
Negative: Parking may be difficult for some units if other guests have trailers that take up extra space on their cars. No fan in the bathroom.
Summary: Great value for a weekend trip with friends.

Positive: It was clean and updated! The parking is a tad challenging but it was so cool to sit outside your room and mingle with the other guests.
Negative: Parking is challenging but it works. A couple pool chairs could be replaced.
