Positive: Great location, close to the beach and our unit had everything we needed.
Negative: Reception hours did not match what was mentioned online or on the welcome sheet. We missed out on using the sauna and the hot pools as reception closed before 530 and only opened up again at 9am. WiFi was also really hard to connect to and the only way it would work was if I agreed to receive promotional emails etc.

Positive: A good location. Close to the main street of Waihi Beach and good value for money if you know to expect basic amenities. Staff were pretty friendly too. Good family facilities - playground, hot tubs to rent, go-karts, kids room.
Negative: Cleanliness of the cabin we stayed in could have been much improved. Cutlery drawer was grubby, mould on bathroom ceiling, stray hairs on linen. Shower pressure was pretty poor and it was hard to balance finding a nice warm temp of water between very cold and far too hot. Pillows were very uncomfortable, no shape and very flat and hard, and some more blankets could have been provided as the rooms got very cold during the night, even with the heater on constantly.
Summary: Enjoyed our two nights at the holiday park.

Positive: Beautiful property! The private spa pool’s are beautiful and great for intimate moments. Our kids really enjoyed the spa, and the whole atmosphere was warming and welcoming! Very happy I could bring my dog here aswell, he loved it!
