Positive: Oliver and his family were exceptional hosts, giving us a truly warm Albanian welcome with their friendliness and hospitality. Each day we enjoyed the home-cooked breakfast (700 ALL) and dinner (1200 ALL), both of which were excellent. Dinner included a wide range of traditional dishes, all fresh, authentic, and delicious. The accommodation itself was great. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom, though shared between four rooms, was also spotless and well-kept. The house is set on a peaceful private farm, which gave the stay a wonderfully authentic feel. The location is well-situated in Theth, and the view from the rooms was absolutely breathtaking. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Theth. We will certainly stay here again when we return.

Negative: It's not that I didn't like, it's just a note to know, that if you get there with a car, there is no parking close to the guesthouse, you need to get you your luggage out near the guesthouse and go to park near the church, about 7-10 min. Walk

Positive: Our host was friendly. The family house is welcoming and attentive. The surrounding scenery is lovely set in a rural location. It is close to mini markets for supplies. Dinner was offered at €12 and breakfast €7. We didn't eat with the family but the food smelled delicious 😋

Negative: The room was basic. We were cold at night (September), and it was too late to ask for extra bedding. There was no shower curtain so the floor remained very wet in the shared bathroom. The accommodation is about a 45-minute walk to the Theth/Valbona trail head. The room is clad in wood. It looks lovely but isn't very soundproof. No signposts to the accommodation so it was difficult to find.

Positive: You feel very welcome staying with Oliver and his family. They make sure your needs are met in every way, from making you feel at home to cooking the most amazing diner and breakfast to just the simple pleasures of interacting with the kids. Location is nice and quiet and the price is more then reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Positive: My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at Oliver and his lovely wife's guesthouse. Everything was perfectly clean and the homecooked meals were very good! They are very considerate about gluten intolerance and cross contamination.

Positive: The hosts were super friendly and helpful, with two cute young kids. They cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast and were happy to do so at any requested time! The room and bed was lovely and while there was no air-conditioning the thick stone walls kept the room cool.

Negative: The kids were super cute however it did sometimes feel like we had to look after them while the hosts were cooking for an hour or two. This meant rather than chat together most of our conversation was with the children for the majority of the evening! Also once we added breakfast and dinner to the costs it soon it reached our budget.

Positive: The beautiful host family create a special and very pleasant atmosphere. The neighbors are nice as well, raising goats and making cheese, and the overall rustic environment and atmosphere are charming and authentic. The food Oliver and his wife serve is most delicious and plentiful! The location at the outskirts of town is close to several nice hiking trails. We arrived late, and Oliver made sure we found the entry.

Negative: Nothing: the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. No complaints. The roads in Theth are unpaved, but you can take your luggage by car very close to the property and then return and park near the church, a short walk away.

Summary: A beautiful place, we would definitely like to come again.

Positive: We had the best and most authentic experience at Te Oli. We loved that it was a smaller, more intimate place, where you quickly developed a great connection with the hosts. They were always helpful whenever we had questions. The level of service was very high, and the food was probably some of the best we had. We ate at a restaurant in town one day, but regretted it afterwards as it wasn’t nearly as delicious as what they served at Te Oli. We can’t recommend it enough.

Negative: The only thing we missed was more outdoor cozy areas where you could sit and chat, play cards, or lie down and read a book while enjoying being surrounded by mountains.

Summary: We will definitely come back again and visit the lovely family
