Positive: A spacious, comfortable home with everything needed for the whole family with children. Prime location offering easy trips to the most beautiful spots.
Negative: The yard is small, but the hosts were extremely kind and allowed the children to play badminton on their field.

Positive: Wonderful view, spacious home, beautiful grounds. Kenmare was a short 10 mins drive, Killarney about 30 mins. Shani was very helpful when needed.
Negative: The house is farther off the road than anticipated. Not many areas to back into if another car was encountered. Upstairs shower only warm enough for one shower. There were only 3 of us, so 2 of us used the en-suite on the main level (electric water heater there). Could be a problem for a larger group which is the only reason I mention it here. Was not a problem for us so never mentioned to host.

Positive: The house is ca 2 km from the road, so it is absolutely quiet. You are surrended by meadows, cows, wild birds and other animals. So, if this is what you are looking for, you are on the right spot! The house must have been renowated lately and is very comfortable, will fit easily 8 to 10 people. Driving distance to Kilarney ca 30 minutes, perfect starting point for the Ring of Kery if you like your own privacy and do not like big hotels in Kilarney.
Negative: The bathroom on the top floor has a limited supply of hot water for the shower, that should be sorted out.

Positive: Absolutely idyllic, lovely area within easy driving distance to Cobh, Killarney, Kenmore, ring of Ketty and Cobh. Starlight only at night is at the top of a hill to which we could see the sheep and their they. Hostess /owner exceptional great , left us lot of goodies and refreshments. Hope we can join you at this delightful place again xx
Negative: Handrails in the disability accessible room hadn't been cleaned prior to arrival and the shower chair was damaged and difficult to use. No mirror in the disability bedroom to sit and dry hair etc. Hopefully the booking company will ensure they ask guests if anyone is of a disability so they can notify the owner in advance.

Negative: Not enough dining chairs. Only 6 for max 10 people. We booked for 8 but 7 came. Pity garden wasn't big enough for a kick around with a football. A BBQ would have been nice.
Summary: Lovely situation a bit far from village amenities so transport is necessary.
