Positive: Nice size, comfortable beds and bedrooms, easy to locate and use as a base to travel from

Negative: Could probably do with a few more items in the kitchen - baking tray, casserole dish.

Summary: We had a great week at the cottage and were able to travel around quite a bit. Visited Kilkenny, Ennis, Cashel, Bunratty

Positive: The whole thing was effortless from Booking to check out, property was spotless and absolutely perfect. I was so impressed and we will be staying in the future, for work but also for a little getaway.

Positive: During our recent trip to Ireland and Scotland, where we stayed at maybe 20 properties, this was our favourite. It is a lovely, comfortable, renovated cottage with a real sense of history about it. The owner was lovely and very helpful and informative. There was bread, ham and cheese (and other items) for us to have for breakfast. This was very helpful for us.

Negative: Location is always difficult to talk about. It was quite isolated, but this is what many people want. The nearest cafes and restaurants were in Thurles. It was a little difficult to find, but that is because we did not understand the Eircode system. Many guests from outside of Ireland would not be familiar with the system. But once we put the code into Google Maps, the location was easy to find. Maybe the Booking.com entry could explain the Eircode system briefly and highlight its usefulness.
