Negative: It was hard to find the entrance of the hotel, but staff was helpful to help us find it.

Positive: Very cool old style hotel done up very nicely to fit within its environment - a good mix of cool, history and location. Staff very friendly and helpful. when i went to leave and get train, my data died and I was about to miss train. - staff booked and paid my taxi to train to get me there - that is service over and above - especially since i cant speak any Chinese

Negative: Stairs - they are not bad but no lift

Positive: This is brilliant little hotel. It is in an excellent location being on the pedestrian street so you are right in the middle of everything. The rooms are well appointed and quite spacious given the age of the building. The staff are super helpful and try to do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again and would highly recommend it.

Negative: There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like but be aware that if you have mobility issues there are stairs.

Positive: Everything! There was nothing that we could complain about. The staff are extra friendly and helpful and go that 'extra mile' to try and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are well appointed and spacious which surprised us for a building of its age. There is free coffee etc anytime and if that's not to your liking the hotel is right in the middle of town on the pedestrian street with shops all around you. It is only a short walk from the metro which makes it easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

Negative: Absolutely nothing for us but if you have mobility issues be aware that there are stairs.

Summary: One of the best.
