Positive: Highlight of my travels on Shikoku. Uchiko is a gem off the beaten path, and Ted's was very welcoming, convenient, and comfortable. Very thoughtful curation of hotel details to make for a comfortable experience -- pristine and private shower areas, onsite laundry, handmade breakfast, excellent drinks and cappucinos, and close to everything in Uchiko. Cyclist/Henro-friendly, but I was neither and it was very comfortable.

Summary: Undiscovered gem, great restaurant and amenities, warm staff in a cool repurposed hospital building

Negative: Unfortunately my room faced the street and it was Saturday night so I heard karaoke until late.
