Positive: What a wonderful place this is. Upon arriving at Telford Cottage, we immediately felt a sense of peace. We were warmly welcomed by the owners; they are very helpful and always up for a friendly chat. We truly enjoyed the cottage and slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed. Waking up each morning to the sound of birds singing was a real delight. During our trip through Scotland, we saw so many amazing things. What a beautiful country, with breathtaking nature. In one word: pure enjoyment. We look back on a relaxing and refreshing time and would love to return to Scotland again.

Positive: Lovely, well equipped accommodation. Beautifully decorated. Comfy sofa, huge bed and waking up to see the birds around the bird feeder through the bedroom window was fabulous. Very peaceful and beautiful views all round. Just across the road is a gate with access down to Insh loch so practically on the door step. Access to some lovely walks nearby. We used walk highlands app and if you are able to it’s so worth it for the views you wouldn’t get to see otherwise. Plenty of plug sockets. We would definitely recommend this property for a get away from it all experience. We took recommendations made by other guests and had dinner at a local hotel called The Rowan Tree and that was really nice, again, in a beautiful setting. We also had lunch at the local old post office and gallery. Welcoming staff and delicious lunch and cake.

Negative: If you’re not used to an induction hob like us, we found it a bit tricky at first, not really a criticism just a note.

Positive: Bird feeders outside the windows were lovely. It was a comfy facility with lovely walks on the doorstep. It was an incredibly comfortable stay with a great bed and sofa. The whisky and shortbread were a lovely touch.

Negative: No aerial for the TV No baking tray for oven use Poor lighting within the accommodation as the lampshades blocked a lot of the light from escaping. There were quite a few dead midges on the ceilings around the bathroom.
