Positive: The location was absolutely top notch. A view of the castle from the bedroom, right on the main "old town" square with restaurants and coffee shops. Very clean and the host was so friendly and kind. My wife claims this was her best night of sleep during the trip (in part, thanks to individual heat and air units in each bedroom). Washing machine and full kitchen (no dryer but we knew that coming in), one bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a sleeper couch in the main room. All was great for our family of 5 (3 younger kids) I was a bit confused on parking but turns out, it is the parking garage <1 minute from the stay, super convenient!. On Google Maps, look at "Parque" that is just above the old town square and Igreja de Sao Joao Baptista. Enter the parking garage and then take your ticket to the security desk on the 2nd floor. 6 Euros cash and he'll give you a ticket good for 24 hours. If you don't pre-pay for 24 hours, it'll cost 30 euros instead. Try the Raspberry and Chocolate Croissants at "P'tit Francais", about 30 seconds away. So good we had to go back and buy more

Positive: The location is perfect. You are in walking distance to everything. The walk to the Convent of Christ is uphill, but not very far. We stayed at many places on our trip to Portugal, but this was our favorite.

Positive: Great location, right in the city centre, there is a parking space 5-min walk from the building. Quite big room, wonderful view from the terrace, well-equipped kitchen. Definitely recommend for a short stay!
