Summary:
Stonecutters Ledge located in the Catskill Forest 15 minutes from Kingston and minutes from Woodstock. Plan a visit to the spectacular new Ashokan Rail Trail just 5 minutes away. 18 miles of amazing artist vistas. Home to best hiking in the Catskills. The well equipped, easy to get to campsite boasts, running water, electric, hot tub, shower house, screen house, picnic table, hammock and horseshoe pits. The essentials are at the site (cooler, camp stove, pots, utensils, lanterns, coffee pot, firewood and more). Interesting trails right outside your door.
We added an outdoor hot tub to the site as well as a shower house. Bring your swimsuit! The shower house has a private side for the portable loo as well as a shower side with running water.
You may not want to leave, but Onteora Lake in the Bluestone Wild Forest is great for hiking, swimming and boating. Our campsite is located only 5 minutes from Ashokan Reservoir where you can fish and boat. Bring your own camping gear or rent ours, the adventures are endless! If festivals, farm markets and shopping are more your thing, we have it all nearby. Please contact me if you have a specific request. We'll make it happen!
The Space:
So close to everything! SC is for active campers that want to be close to the action, recreation and culture. A private - outdoor hot tub and shower house right at your campsite!
Other Things to Note:
Do enjoy the woods, respect nature and be considerate of noise curfews in our town. Do take all trash daily to the dumpster next to Uncle Pete's garage to avoid unwanted critters and Bears. Don't keep food in the tent with you, put it in your car.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Summary: Awesome campsite in a perfect spot. It was stocked with everything we needed. Jay was very friendly and helpful - definitely coming back.

Summary: Overall the campsite had a nice set up. There was everything there you needed, cookware, a cooler, firewood, fresh water and of course it had electric, running water and a hot tub which was extremely enjoyable. Our dogs enjoyed being able to run around the campsite since it was just us, and we of course enjoyed the quiet sounds of nature. Perfect cell service as well since you are not far off the road. Unfortunately because of the heavy rains the tent was saturated and wet on the inside. The site was also buggy which could have been from all the rain. It is camping though, so there are outdoor elements to be expected though. We only stayed one night because of the weather, everything was damp, the blankets, the tent floor, our towels and clothes. It was nice though to have a toilet and shower nearby. My only suggestion would be to completely enclose the toilet so critters can’t get in, and to add a shower curtain where the shower is. The shower water was very hot so what a treat it was to have hot running water to get clean at a campsite. The hot tub was so relaxing and nice and warm! What a nice touch! The host was very nice, helpful and gracious. He did everything he could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. He was readily available by phone if we needed him. No one had any control over the weather though, so that was to no ones fault. Despite the weather and issues we had because of the rain, I’d still say this is one of the better sites to stay at because of all that’s included and the amenities. I’d love to be able to go back and experience the campsite when the weather is nicer. I would definitely recommend a stay here at least for a weekend. It’s a great way to get away from it all and just recharge. There is no other campsite like this I’ve seen in the way of what it offers. Oh I forgot to mention the two huge fire pits were a nice touch to the campsite with free firewood included! The tiki torches were a nice touch as well, to help keep the bugs away. A must try camping experience in the Catskills if you enjoy the outdoors and all that it offers. Happy camping! Thank you again to our gracious host for doing all he could within his power to make our stay enjoyable.

Summary: This was an amazing getaway! Location was remote (outside of the distant tennis court). Hadn't seen a single passerbyer. Area was clean. Was pleasantly surprised there was a hot tub! Yes... a hot tub... in the middle of the woods! It was an amazing glamping trip. Thank you for a great escape!
