Positive: Lots of space inside and out. Quiet. A leisurely walk into the town. And a cat who will adopt you.
Negative: Wifi didn’t work, and spa didn’t heat up. I think the spa is a common issue ;)

Positive: Very spacious and comfortable with lovely outside space. The property was well equipped and we when we arrived we had been left welcome cakes, fruit and wine. Property owners were and extremely helpful and responded quickly when we contacted them. The property was ideally located for exploring the wider area whilst being within walking distance of Carovigno.
Negative: The electricity was a little unreliable, but this was explained to us on arrival along with what to do in the event of any issue.
Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Tenuta del Normanno. Many thanks indeed to our hosts.

Positive: The vast garden and orchards around the house are pleasant. The house is spacious, well equipped, and in addition to the 3 sleeping rooms has a winter garden with and old wooden desk. The main room is extremely spacious providing a nice atmosphere.
Negative: Unfortunately, the house is technically outdated and not properly serviced. The owners who live above seemed kind but careless. We had asked specifically about the heating just to find out on arrival it is not working. While at the house we had over 20 blackouts, some days several times, many devices were broken. When you turn on water boiler, air condition and a few lamps, the switch overloads and everything turns dark. In winter, the house is very difficult to heat. The shower is old, dirty and partially dysfunctional. Then there are the dogs that start barking as soon as one enters the garden. Essentially they dont let one use the veranda and garden as they scare the children. One can also hear the dogs running through the rooms in the apartment above numerous times day and at night. About 10 lamps around the house were broken. The wifi isn't working properly either.

Valeria and Alfredo were excellent hosts, communicating well before arrival and meeting us at the property to explain everything. The property was well stocked with basics and we had a lovely bowl of fresh fruit along with wine and snacks. The location is peaceful but very convenient to the town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Positive: The beautiful photos on the website had surely captured my but we actually got there we were astonished by the beauty of the villa and its beautiful large garden with centuries-old olive trees. We felt like being in a castle surrounded by greenery and peace, and yet a stone's throw away the lovely town of Carovigno. We were warmly welcomed by Amalia and her son Alfredo who told us everything we need to know and even offered a basket of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and taralli! We felt at home and they truly made our stay as much confortable as possible. Before arriving, Valeria gave me all necessary information about how to the get there, about the surroundings and she even arranged a flexible check-in time for us. As for the villa itself: there are amazing outdoor spaces, a large patio for dining and BBQ, a perfectly functional jacuzzi, spacious living room with a fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen,, a bright veranda for relaxing but I really love my bedroom in the old library of the house. I would also like to point out that all spaces are wheelchair accessible, which is one of the reasons why I chose this villa. I spent a couple of unforgettable days with my family at Villa del Normanno and I would definitely love to come back in the future.
Negative: Nothing I can say really, everything was just perfect. The only thing that should be improved concerns the pooer conditions of the road to acces the villa. But it probably falls under the local borough jurisdiction.
