Summary: Perfect location in Testaccio. Good sized room, huge bed with a great mattress, good shower, nice patio space - all hard to find in Italy.

Summary: We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2025. Easy to find and only 15 minutes from Piramide Metro Station. Quick walk to River and many dining options. 10 minute walk to most buses to take you to Colloseum and Metro to other places in Rome. The room was amazing with a cute private patio to eat on. We did Take away from the local Italian restaurants and ate there at night after long days of walking around Rome. Neighborhood is quiet and also a McDonald’s downstairs. Free coffee and fridge in Room and there is an option to purchase breakfast. The staff were amazing! Walking distance to the new Mercato Central next door with lots of food options in the daytime or fresh fruit, meat etc. Testaccio was lovely as away from the hustle and bustle of Rome!

Summary: The staff was absolutely amazing! We do not speak Italian, at all, they helped us whenever we needed! Our room was cleaned spotless and the housekeeping staff kept the entire building clean and smelling fresh. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Summary: The staff could not be any better. Always so helpful and responsive. The breakfast was better than I expected. Big selection and one day we were offered a hot breakfast. Unlimited dining and shopping options right outside the door. 15 minute car ride into the historical area.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Sonder Testaccio. We took a cab from the airport but the bus and metro stops are nearby and we used those too. The hotel is very nice with 24 hour coffee and water and a lovely "continental" breakfast (for an extra 15 euros) which is really a full buffet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and there was a medicine cabinet and drawers in the bathroom which was super helpful and convenient. There is someone at the desk 24 hours and they were all so nice and friendly and ready to help with restaurant recommendations, calling a cab, and anything else that we needed. The Pyramide metro stop is a 10 minute walk and then only two stops to Coliseo. We found the metro very clean, fast, and safe. There is a very cool market, "Mercato di Testaccio" right next door and a contemporary art exhibit called Mattatoio (don't confuse them like we did) on the other side. And we can recommend the restaurant Ai Cocci which had such wonderful service and food.
