Positive: The villa itself was okay, clean.

Negative: However, one of the toilets was not clean when we arrived. It took the airconditioning quite some time to cool down the room. The pool was too warm, so not refreshing at all. Moreover, it was not cleaned for a long time and mold was on the sides. Breakfast was very simple. You could choose between eggs, sausages or rice. There was some fruit and some toast.

Positive: Very nice and welcoming, family owned and managed resort with excellent breakfast options offered à la carte. The owners and their staff went always that extra mile to make us feel home, so that we decided to stay another night. In a small talk with the owner's family I mentioned in passing, that my favorite Thai dessert is "mango sticky rice". The other morning they surprised me after breakfast with this dessert made only for me. So lovely. Large and nice swimming pool. Last but not least, the amazing Sukhothai Historical Park can be reached within a 20 minutes ride by car

Negative: There is absolutely nothing to complaint and we look forward to come back again for another stay at Thanawong Pool Villa

Positive: Friendly family staff who cooked us dinner & breakfast despite being the only hotel guests. Clean rooms and a free shuttle to National park & bus terminal too

Negative: It was 40 degrees outside, even hot for locals, so it would’ve been nice to have the air con on in the room before we arrived as it was scorching hot inside and took very long to cool down. It was also turned off the following day during the room clean

Summary: Nice stay, clean rooms and friendly staff. Expect to use grab / tuktuk for travelling around
