Welcome to our comfortable and quiet two bedroom walk-up condominium (one flight of stairs) in the heart of Saanichton village. You are steps away from groceries, restaurants, liquor and beer store, pharmacy, coffee shop and pub. A short drive gets you to downtown Victoria, Buchart Gardens, the Butterfly Gardens, Victoria International Airport, BC ferry terminal and the town of Sidney by the Sea. You’re also close to many parks with fabulous hiking, seashore rambles, and great picnicking opportunities. The peninsula is also home to a number of wineries, cideries and craft breweries.
Your home away from home is spacious and comfortably furnished. The chef’s kitchen has everything you need to make a quick bite or a gourmet meal, with a dining room table that seats six. Air conditioning keeps you cool in the summer, and the fireplace brings warmth and ambiance in the winter months. A barbecue on the shady deck gives you outdoor cooking options, and the propane fireplace means you can linger over the evening as the sun disappears. The pastoral view makes for a tranquil start to your day as you sip your coffee while watching the sunrise.
High-speed wireless internet means you can always be connected, whether for work or pleasure. If it does need to be work, there’s a desk in the second bedroom to give you privacy and space.

Summary: Perfect place to stay. Right in Saanichton. Place has everything you need and is immaculate. Stayed here for two years running to be home base for Xmas with family. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Summary: Property is great and exactly as described. Hosts were excellent to deal with and thought of everything, including a lovely welcome basket, unscented products, ease of check-in / out, etc. Location very convenient - close to Victoria and ferry terminal. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: This was a lovely property. Not much to look at on the outside, but once you got inside, it was gorgeous. It was central to groceries and necessities and close to Victoria. We had a great vacation with another couple. The accommodations allowed for lots of time together and private space too. Lovely spot!

Summary: This was the best equipped bnb we've ever stayed in and we've been booking bnbs for over 20 years. It's location was excellent for us, across from amenities yet still in a small town. And we appreciated the spaciousness.

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing stay and our host Bram was really friendly & helpful, coming over straight away to explain the air conditioning system for us. We loved the facilities esp the well appointed kitchen, and dining room as well as comfortable beds with plenty of fresh towels. Very clean! We knew there would be steps but found it a bit challenging carrying our suitcases up the rather steep stairs at the entrance. Our location was very convenient with shoppers drug mart across the street, home hardware next door, and Thrifty’s food market a block away. Close to many scenic attractions! Would definitely recommend this place.

Summary: Party of 4 adults from U.S. Extremely nice VRBO in all respects. Great location for accessing Victoria, coastline above Sooke, and Saanich Peninsula. Very quiet. Very spacious and livable layout--bedrooms, living, dining, etc. High quality contemporary fixtures and hardware. Reserved parking space. Grocery, diner, pizza, pharmacy gas within one to two blocks. Hosts extremely gracious. Even welcomed us with some food items. The unit is up a flight of steps, which could be an issue for some guests.

Summary: This property was situated perfectly for our stay for a Family Reunion. Two bedrooms/baths made for privacy and convenience. The kitchen was better equipped than anything we have stayed in before and all was spotless. Two decks - one with shade, and one in the sun! A dining table that sat six comfortably and dishes/cutlery for eight or more. Parking on site as well. Hosts were responsive throughout our stay and made us feel very welcomed. Just a word of caution - there are 24 stairs to get up to the unit so not built for anyone with mobility issues. If you are mobile, it is a fantastic choice!

Summary: This was the best short term rental we have enjoyed to date! The owners are friendly and helpful and respond immediately. The accommodation is spacious, very clean and very well appointed. It lacks absolutely nothing! Comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms make staying here delightful. We highly recommend this spot and these hosts.

Summary: Lovely apartment on second floor of an accountant's office. A bit hard to find as the entry door sits between the accountant office and a hardware store, but what you find once on the second floor is pure elegance. A well-done and spacious apartment above the town and close to a wonderful restaurant at the end of the block. Close to Butchart Gardens (15 minutes) and Victoria (25 minutes). Easy access and even a welcome basket with bread and jam was a very nice touch!
