Summary: We stayed here for 2 nights, arriving by train at Chur. The resort is about a 20 minute cab ride. The ride was pricey so we didn’t venture back into town. There were limited activities in the summer. We went on a nice long hike and had a spa treatment. When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff members and checked in about 2 hours before scheduled check in time. We had reserved a junior suite which was advertised as having a balcony. It did not have a balcony. The bed, pillows and blankets were very comfortable, as was the pull out sofa. The room was very small and didn’t allow for privacy. We are a family of four with 2 teenagers. The shower and toilet are in 2 separate stalls located in the main room. There is no separate bathroom. The shower and toilet both have a motion sensor light that turns on when someone enters the stall. The light is very bright and wakes up anyone sleeping in the bed anytime someone needs the toilet in the middle of the night. The spa treatment was excellent and relaxing. My daughter and I had massages with Nina and she did a lovely job pampering us. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub. Breakfast was served from 8-10:30. There were a variety of juices, teas, breads, cheese, meats, cereal, eggs and bacon. Coffee was made to order. I would not recommend this resort for families.

Summary: Lovely hotel with great facilities in a stunning ski in/ski out location. Rooms comfortable and cosy with innovative use of space. Only suggestions would be implementing a variety in menus between meal times and restaurants (although quality of food is fantastic), and also working on the speed of service. Overall a great stay and would definitely return.
