This beautiful cottage is about an hour from Montreal, heritage house, dating from 1850, located near the village of Eastman and a few minutes from Magog, with lake access, rustic style, parking at the door and close to all services. At the Cottage l original, if you would like to have access to the spa, an extra C$20 will be applied per hour. The spa is located at our office, which is only a 30 second walk from the property. **Animals are accepted**

Summary: As mentioned in the listing, this is an ancestral home, so do not expect everything to be shiny and new. However, it has a lot of character and is very comfortable - including the bed. The yard is large and beautiful, and we enjoyed eating on the deck. The chalet is in a very quiet area, and it is only 3 km to Eastman, where you can find a grocery store and a couple restaurants and pubs. Pascale lives across the street, so he is always around if you need something. Access to the water is a 2-3 minute walk, but it is an inlet, so the water is shallow and not super inviting for swimming. This is, however, a great area for cycling. The wifi was hit or miss. (It seemed better in the mornings.)The exterior of the chalet could use some upkeep, but overall, I would return here, especially since dogs are accepted. 😊

Summary: Old building that hides a delightful comfortable interior with lots of room and well equipped. One has to cautious on stairs but good place to explore the area.

Summary: Relaxing and very close to walking trails and bakery shops. My partner and I with our Springer spaniel stayed at the chalet and we enjoyed it very much. Pascal was quick to respond to our queries and kind to even offer us firewood. Thank you very much!

Summary: Very relaxing stay. Cabin was beautiful and rustic. Nice outdoor area to sit and roast marshmallows. Tons to do in the area. There is a fantastic bakery steps away from the cabin. Owner was very pleasant and accommodating. Was able to rent a Canoe for a few hours and Orford lake is gorgeous, and lovely to swim in. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, rent another property from the same owner or recommend to others.

Summary: The cottage was clean. We weren’t lucky with the weather but got to enjoy the fireplace and some relaxation time. The bed was really comfortable. There were a few things that bothered us at first, one being that the dishwasher was out of order and we weren’t notified before our stay and second was that there was no salt and pepper in the cottage which I’ve had happen in a rental before. But there was also no coffee filters for the coffee maker, how are you supposed to know which machine they have ahead of time... besides that the kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed our stay in this rustic cottage.

Summary: We loved our stay here! This cabin was so homey inside that it was really hard to leave. Beautiful log-cabin interior...complete with 2 loft bedrooms & a moose! The fireplace was huge - and we enjoyed our cozy nights sitting by the fire. The kitchen was well-stocked with every kind of utensil & appliance needed. Pascal was friendly & helpful! (& very easy to reach if we had any questions). We can't wait to come back~!

Summary: Great rustic looks inside and out. All the comforts that you would expect, and more. Pascal responded within minutes before and during our stay. Views are great and close to Montreal. We'll definitely be going back.
