Positive: A perfect base camp for our highland getaway. Either direction from the property gives you stunning views and lovely walks. So close to the viaduct and the loch opposite. Just beautiful.

Positive: From arrival everything was fantastic, the house was spotless, warm and very comfortable with a welcome hamper including some Scottish treats, which was a very nice touch. The view from the full height window was great and the house is such a relaxing place to be when the weather turned. WiFi was great, no issues with any of the wonderful facilities and the house was very well stocked with all you need and more. Location was perfect, leave the car and explore Glenfinnan, short stroll to Glenfinnan House for a drink or food and lots of trails around to suit all abilities. In summary, we have stayed in various places across the Highlands in the last few years and the Armoury was easily the best. Great host, wonderful house and location is stunning, fully recommend.

Positive: Location is stunning. The accommodation was excellent. We stayed over Christmas and new year as a family of five. The host made the accommodation very festive. Given the location it is self catering. Everything you need to do the perfect festive dinner spreads was available. The accommodation has a unique character reflecting its setting and its main view over St Marys church and the loch beyond.
Summary: Fantastic, with trips to the Glenfinnan viaduct and a snow cover Anarch Mor' via the cable car..

Positive: Convenient location for local walks and continuing to explore the western coast. Amazing views from the living room and very cozy setting with the fireplace. Well equipped and spacious kitchen. Appreciated the rural feel with only one neighbour and surrounded by trees, but the convenience of being directly off a main road to explore.
Negative: Downstairs tends to be colder than upstairs where the thermometer is (we stayed in December) but it wasn't a problem and we managed to adjust the settings as needed. Also note that the property is off a main road which didn't bother us (enjoy the white noise of passing cars) but some may not appreciate and or need to take extra care with kids/pets. There is small fenced area with a gate which you can latch surrounding the main entrance.
