Positive: Room was good. Comfortable.
Negative: Went to this hotel specifically for pool, fitness center and breakfast. Pool was closed for the whole stay. Fitness center was only a bike and treadmill. Breakfast was a choice between 4 options w/ coffee. They didn’t have condiments to go with the breakfast or other beverage options like juice or water. Had to get water out of a water fountain. No fruit or potato’s were offered for side dishes . All in all the room was fine but all the extras I chose this hotel for fell flat and were disappointing. There were also cobwebs on the ceiling.

Positive: I had seen from other reviews that the elevator was not working and it was clear that the receptionist was incredibly nervous when she mentioned this. People have obviously been giving her a hard time because of it. We only had to carry our suitcases up one floor but the room was absolutely huge. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. I dont stay in a hotel to spend time in the elevator so I enjoyed our stay here.
Negative: Honestly dont remember anything that I didnt like. Was a big room with a big bed, heaps of space for suitcases and was comfortable.
Summary: Really good night sleep

Negative: The fire alarm would randomly go off throughout the night. There was an incident with a stranger able to get a room key to another person's room without any verification of identity or otherwise. I think they should look into more security measures in the future.

Positive: 1)The breakfast sandwich was great! 2) The bed was comfortable. 3)Tasteful upgrades to decor are appreciated, though it's not all yet cohesive. 4) fantastic towels!! 5) Offer of help to take luggage up in the elevator even though it was broken so that we didn't have to carry all our bags and such upstairs to the 3rd floor was helpful. At 73 we appreciate not having to make multiple trips up and down the stairs with luggage. 6) Great that there were TWO luggage racks!! That rarely happens and it's appreciated! 7) overall cleanliness
Negative: 1) Lack of variety in breakfast offering. 2)There was a sewer smell inside the building, especially first floor. (different than the way the dairies in the area smell...that is expected) 3) the smoke alarm wakening us sharply in the early morning hours each day that we were there...and a couple of more times too. 4) TV was a little confusing to operate 5) Black out honeycomb blinds were operable, but the diffusing white shade under it didn't work. 5) the elevator being out of order.
Summary: Comfortable stay, clean, conveniently located but spoiled by no working elevator & 5 am smoke alarms

Positive: Rooms were nice. Eveything was clean. I appreciate having a fridge and bathtub in the rooms also, which a lot of places don’t have anymore.
Negative: The elevator was out of order and their hot tub was also not in service. It would have been nice to have something about those in the description as I was really looking forward to a soak after a day of walking around seeing the sites.
Summary: Pretty good stay and a great value.
