Positive: We had a short but enjoyable stopover at the Babble Community Hotel Grenoble. The staff are very friendly and helpful and location overlooking the city provided great views. The room was clean and functional with everything we needed. The restaurant on the top of the hotel served excellent food with amazing service by Sasha on the night. The night time outlook from the rooftop was a bonus.

Positive: The location, the view and the cleanness. The room was great equipped, even the oil and pepper (salt was empty). Also I had the coupon for free prosecco in the hotel`s restaurant, but I didn't have time to use it.
Negative: When I arrived, the reception was already closed. When I enter the provided number in the key box, it didn't work and I had to call the hotline to ask for help. They opened the box remotely for me. Also, there is bad neighborhood with junky people near, and they could break the window in your car if you leave something there, especially if the car has foreign number plate.
Summary: 10/10, will definitely book again if I'll come to this city

Positive: The hotel is located in a renovated building that is situated on the cliffside. The access roads are bad, but traversible for most cars. Parking is public and a little chaotic and very crowded, though I had no trouble finding a spot near to the entrance. The inside of the hotel is a bit dark in the hallways to the rooms, and clearly compartmented for fire safety. The room layout is like a small apartment, with matching amenities, which means you can literally live in a room on your own: kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom are all present.
Negative: The toilet smelled of urine for the first hour, the room was located on the mountainside which results in a lack of a view. If you can, book a room on the city side, as I'm sure that will guarantee a lovely view over Grenoble. The city itself isn't much to walk around in, though at walking distance regardless. Because the city isn't very special, the price for the room was on the high end in my opinion.

Positive: Recently renovated building on prime location near the city centre, with free parking space, very pleasant and helpful receptionist Jacqueline. Good restaurant with splendid views on the top floor.
Negative: Access road is steep, narrow and somewhat run down. Spacious rooms but access to double bed is difficult for a second person.

Positive: The apartment is very comfortable with a commanding view from the rooftop restaurant.
Negative: Bed is too tight for 2 people. There are many parking spaces but the pavement needs to be resurfaced and better managed. Parking security is sketchy. Don't leave any valuables in the car!
