Positive: My wife and I stayed for four nights at The Barn and it was simply superb. From the regular updates from the owner (Nicola) even before we arrived, to the morning we left, everything was first class. The cottage is located in a quiet rural location, and has everything you might need. And if you do need something (for us an extension cable) nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail was second to none, eg clear and concise information about the cottage and the locality. A welcoming touch was that on our arrival fresh milk and an assortment of refreshments had been provided for us. So in summary if you're looking for a quaint cottage in a quiet location, with all the facilities you might need, this is most definitely your place!

Positive: Nice little Irish cottage. We will definetly come back if in the area. Loved the open space. The fire place is really cozy in the evening or a cold night. Nice little touches by the host with gnomes they are scattered all over the cottages and are quite funy and painted windows. Id choose to stay here than a hotel anytime. Cant wait to go back !
Negative: TV abit outdated Netflix didnt work so bring your amazon stick.

Positive: Lovely property inside and out.
Negative: Only niggle for me was the low space in bedroom due to beams. But you're made aware of that from the start. Just be careful getting in and out of bed. But I'd definitely stay again as that didn't spoil anything for me.

Positive: not recomended for someone with no vehicle. Could be a nice place with some TLC. Hostess was more than helpful.
Negative: No clothes dryer. Cannot depend on Irish weather. Things were going to be fixed when we were there and nothing was done. It was too cluttered to allow any serious cleaning, therefore I found it a bit dirty. The hosts yard was in a mess therefore leading to an untidy looking cottage. Definetly not what the photos showed from Bookings.com.
Summary: Not what we are used to staying in when visiting Ireland.
