A unique, blissful accommodation experience... Situated on 100 acres in the Byron Bay Hinterland, the moment you arrive you are enveloped in peace and nature yet you are only minutes from Bangalow and Byron Bay.
Escape from the hustle and bustle but know that you are only a very short drive from some of Australias best and simply stunning beaches. Even closer you will discover beautiful valleys, freshwater creeks, rainforest walks, waterfalls and the boutique shops, restaurants & cafes of the historic Bangalow village.
You will discover the beautiful French provincial style barn upon Willeroo ~ 100 acres of hinterland beauty. Built to traditional European style, The Barn, features recycled exposed timbers, a sealed brick floor with an open plan lounge and dining area. A self catering kitchen, laundry and bathroom are all on the lower level which opens out onto a sunny paved area that includes outside dining and bbq. The romantic upstairs master bedroom features a lush elegant four poster bed, pitched timber ceiling and polished timber floors.
The second bedroom is a solid brick rendered building with undercover access that is detached from The Barn. This comfortable, light and airy bedroom features a beautiful solid timber queen sized sleigh bed with an antique wardrobe that opens out onto the outdoor dining and sunny paved area.
The Barn has been set up to very comfortably accommodate 2 adult couples.
The Barn is an adults only retreat and not suitable for children.
Over 15's and very young babies may be considered.
We have a minimum 2 night stay. Strictly no parties are allowed within the property.
Due to the abundant native wildlife we are unable to accommodate pets.
'Willeroo' is a working farm, and home to a happy heard of cows and cheeky chickens.

The township of Bangalow is a picturesque 10 minute drive and features boutique shops, galleries, restaurants & cafes.
Even closer, a 5 minute drive away is the quaint village of Federal, once known as Jasper. Here you will find the Federal general store & bottle shop and the popular Doma Japanese Café.
Less than a 20 minute drive will bring you to Byron Bay and surrounding beaches. Byron Bay has so many things on offer it speaks for itself.
15 to 20 minutes away is the alternate & happening town of Mullumbimby, home of the Mullum Music Festival. Along your drive into Mullumbimby you will also find the popular tourist attraction, the Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens.
The Barn is a quick 40 minutes to the Gold Coast airport and 30 minutes to the Ballina airport. Brisbane is an easy 2 hour journey up the freeway.

Summary: What a perfectly blissful stay we had at the Barn...a little gem among the trees in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. The check in process and information sharing was faultless and so easy only matched by the fabulous Barn itself...super comfy beds, first rate decor and a most gorgeous setting...loved every minute and did not want to leave. Summary: I spent a week at the Barn. It was a beautiful location and a joy to stay in. The location was perfect for driving the roads of the hinterland. Federal has a great Japanese cafe and coffee brewer and we were just 10 minutes from Bangalow and an easy drive to Byron and the coast. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: We have a lovely few days at 'The Barn'. The cottage is beautifully styled and definitely felt like a home away from home. The property is stunning, the amenities good and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was lovely to hear the mooing of the cows and the abundant birdlife. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but it is so close to Bangalow. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you :)
