Positive: This is my second time at this location, and as before I enjoyed my stay. I had a much better room this time, (No. 15) it was comfortable and the facilities were in good order, unfortunately being a rather "tall & a large framed" chap i did struggle with the folding door shower. For breakfast I ordered two poached eggs with bacon, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the member of staff in the dining room was very friendly, as were the receptionist and bar staff. The also serve a very nice pint of 6X...!

Negative: The folding shower door, but it was what it was I managed to get in and out !

Positive: The room was comfortable, had a good view of the market place and was a good size. The olde world hotel is full of character, creaky but is what you should expect. We enjoyed a nice evening meal and good breakfast.

Negative: Nothing of real value to mention.

Summary: I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay, based on free parking and good food.

Positive: The warm welcome from the front of house staff. The rooms were well kept by the cleaning team. Our food was excellent. The room was clean and conformable. We have stayed many times before and intend to return later this year.
