Positive: Staff were excellent and helpful. Room comfy and surprisingly quiet considering it's on the high street
Negative: Parking can be a problem at times, there's a free car park behind the pub but that was full when we arrived. Our biggest disappointment was the fact the Bear & Swan had an organised event the day we stayed so there was no pub food just burgers all day. We booked the pub because the evening menu looked really good. We did have a burger at dinner tine but went elsewhere in the evening. If we had known about this event we would probably have stopped elsewhere. Communication about this event would have been good as we only found out one day before when trying to book the restaurant

Positive: A nice spacious room and huge bed. The shower room was decorated lovely. The village is lovely. Staff were helpful and pleasant
Negative: The shower head was broken and I had to tie it up with face cloths. The Velux window wouldn't close at night time, then at 7am it closed off it's own accord. Food is expensive. I would have booked breakfast but this didn't start until 8am and as it was a business trip I needed to be out by 8am
