Summary: We are a family of 14 that stayed at the Big Beaver House and Little Beaver house for a weekend in September to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. Large kitchen with everything you need. Everyone could sit at one table for meals. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, cups, glasses and cooking utensils available. Lots of room to spread out in the family room, 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. Lots of room to play on a large lawn and private fire pit. Trails throughout the entire property to enjoy walking and exploring. We are already talking about returning to this cottage!

Summary: We had a group of 10 people and we were all able to stay very comfortably. There was a massive dinner room table where we were all able to eat together which was important to us. They had all the cooking equipment that we needed to cook all our meals there. It was clean and the bathrooms were nice. Great experience, would recommend if you have a large group.

Summary: Host was great and communicated fast and efficiently. Property was perfect and the park and grounds were great for the kids. My only negative was the second bed downstairs is very difficult to sleep on and wouldn’t be good for an older couple but for young adults it worked fine. We will be back again. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to celebrate our family Christmas all together.

Summary: The location was great and beautiful. A few issues we found were there were tons of flies throughout the place. We would clean it up and then would find more later on. Not sure where they were coming from. The stovetop had burners that weren't working and a knob was missing. The description said the place sleeps 15 with 4 bedrooms but we didn't realize the 4th bedroom was in a completely separate area (main floor) from the rest of the bigger area which required you to go outside and use a different door. Otherwise, we liked the location of the cabin. It was cute and cozy. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick mini getaway that's not too far from Calgary.
