Positive: Breakfast was excellent but limited if you don’t like savoury things at the start of your day. Welcome warm and staff cheerful and helpful. The evening meal was enjoyable, plenty of choice, open fire, cosy.

Negative: During the evening there was a noise in the room, apparently it was the fan (I think in the kitchen), but I was assured it would stop at the end of the service , which was the case.

Positive: The overall stay. Their flexibility with my booking. Friendliness of staff. Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money

Negative: There was a very strong smell of drains coming from my room. After opening bathroom and bedroom window the smell eased. It was particularly strong in the bathroom the following morning.

Summary: Excellent stay. This was my second visit. Would recommend and will definitely stay again.
