Summary: My meal was delicious in the evening, service fantastic, rooms could do with some t l c ( curtain hooks, lick of paint, new kettle ) but v comfortable bed, linen and towels good quality.

Summary: For the price of bed and large breakfast could not fault. Could not get a table for dinner that night so disappointed nothing was suggested at check-in. Went to Italian next door. Too many body washes and soaps supplied. They were everywhere. Good selection on quantity of tea and coffee although.

Summary: Lovely friendly staff. Very busy pub. Couldn’t offer us breakfast as we were off early but gave us a lovely lunch bag to takeaway. Food was fantastic in the pub highly recommend.

Summary: I love coming to stay here, it’s one of my favourite places and I try to come every year. The proprietor is charming and funny and often feeds my dog sausages! The atmosphere is great.

Summary: The pub was old and very attractive and the food was great. The room was querky but clean and everything worked. Out stay was spoiled by a very uncomfortable mattress.
