Summary: Very quiet and cozy place close to transit and all amenities. Very clean unit and well lit in the back entrance so it is easy to access when coming back in the evening. A cute patio to enjoy a book or breakfast. If you need a laundromat, there is a fantastic one just up the street. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Summary: There was mold in the shower, the appliances (such as iron and toaster) were not working properly and dirty, dirty bathroom, there were trash leftover in the trash can, the alleyway leading to the vrbo door was not lid and had a lot of spiderwebs and debris in the way making it hard for us to walk through, no A/C (A/C was one of the promised features of the stay), host was very late to responding our questions despite seeing him during the day.

Summary: If you are staying and are on the fold out in the main part of the place the lights from outside shine in, even with the blinds down. But other than that it was a good stay

Summary: We didn't have any issues with opening the door to the rental. But getting to the rental is pretty precarious. We were lucky that our taxi driver scouted out the area and helped us with our bags. You have to dodge patio furniture and hoses and miscellaneous lawn equipment etc. Before getting to the door. The little patio area next to the rental was littered with bikes. There are 2rentals in the basement and you don't know which one is yours. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything going on in the other rental. Netflix is not available unless you have a password. Internet password is scratched on an old blackboard that is unreadable. Interacting with the owner were one liners. "Password is on the blackboard" or "use your Netflix password". The hotplate or toaster have not been cleaned in ages. You cannot even get to the fire pit if you wanted to. It is overgrown with weeds, vines and a lawnmower.

Summary: This suite was clean and communication with the owners was straightforward and efficient. However, the bed was harder than Donald Trump after watching Sesame Street. The location description of “in the heart of Vancouver” was misleading as it is about a 30-40 bus/train journey to downtown. I would recommend a rental car or bike if you stay here. Not a bad place to stay for the price though!

Summary: Staying at Frantz' place was good, not 5 stars overall. The place was clean and secure. It was evening/dark and raining when we arrived. We weren't sure if we were at the correct place as there was no exterior lights on to illuminate the address. We were told to go around to the rear of the residence to gain entry. We had to climb over patio furniture and other obstacles with luggage to get to the entry. Quite hazardous at best, particularly in the rain. Other than that, the only unresolved issue was the lack of drainage in the shower. That wasn't effectively addressed during our 3 night stay.

Summary: We found this a delightful apartment and as avid walkers we enjoyed the local area, including Trout Lake and other lovely parks. The neighbourhood felt safe and secure and we found the public transport access also adequately met our needs. Franz was at all times helpful and was kind to allow us an early check-in when we had a change in our arrival plans. Thanks Franz for a lovely stay.
