Positive: Very nice dog friendly hotel in a good location; a relatively short walk to the main Bath city centre. The bed was super comfortable. Very nice restaurant. Excellent reception and restaurant staff. Very good breakfast.

Negative: The nightly charge for the dog at £35 per night is more than we have paid elsewhere.

Positive: Our first time staying at the Bird and we loved it. We had a call a few days before to confirm our stay and lunch reservation. We really appreciated the reserved car parking space as we were taking my elderly mother in law for lunch. Everyone working at The Bird were so friendly and you can tell they really want you to have a great stay. We were given a room upgrade, which we were very grateful for. The place is very clean and the the larder was great for a late night snack. It’s a great location to walk into central Bath in 5 minutes too.
