Positive: Dinner was outstanding, the sirloin steak was probably the best I have ever had, as good as a fillet. Compliments to your excellent chef. Breakfast was similarly excellent and set us up for the day ahead. Beer selection excellent too! It has been 10 years since we last stayed with you, and happily little has changed.

Negative: The room (4) was cramped and we couldn't get access to fresh air. Also the toilet seat was broken, although still usable. Next time I will ask for a bigger room.

Summary: I have been staying with you for 40 years, several times with shooting parties; we'll be back...

Positive: The room was spotless and had excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a lovely view of the garden. The breakfast was superb with a varied choice of breakfast options.

Negative: The bar and restaurant had a really good selection of wines and beers. The food was delicious, however, quite pricey.

Negative: There was nothing negative about our stay. The price of the lamb rump was astronomical, but the quality, taste and presentation almost made up for it. I could have chosen something less expensive, but I was treating myself.

Negative: The dinner in the restaurant (not included in the booking) we found disappointing - tough duck and the pie wasn’t amazing either. For the prices we expected perfect. The breakfast however, which was included) was fabulous
