Positive: The property is beautiful and although it sits right next to an industrial/commercial port area, it's untouched by neighboring communities and is within reasonable driving distance to a lot of places. We ran out of time to visit North Beach, but it's quite literally about a two-minute walk there. It's about 35 mins. to Padre Island and even Whitecap Beach there, which I would recommend if you're not willing to drive all the way down to South Padre.
Negative: No real complaints about the property: Corpus is just very hot and humid However, the property does a very good job of sealing the house to keep out the weather and environment (like foam sealants around all of the windows and a heavy front door). Though, the floors warp (obviously with the water vapor in the air), and some of the floor tiles are coming a bit loose. There was no hazard with them, it's just noisy on some parts of the house.
Summary: Very beautiful, comfortable, and well outfitted house for a perfect stay close to everything

Positive: The property was as described - very well appointed and very comfortable.
Negative: I couldn't find any glasses at all except for one tumbler. When I emailed the owner to ask where the wine glasses were, I was only told they were "in a cabinet". I opened every cabinet I could see but still didn't find them. I also had difficulty accessing and locking the property until I phoned and was emailed the instructions for the use of the 9-digit code. These should have been provided before I arrived. The property was advertised as having capacity for 6 cars. When I asked if I could access the 4 - car garage, I was told no. I could only park in the driveway. The property therefore only has capacity for 2 cars. No instructions of any kind were provided in the property itself.
Summary: Very comfortable but communication is poor.

Negative: We were missing toilet paper when we arrived, but they brought us some within a few minutes of us asking.
