We have 2 tiny houses on just under 6 acres here in Burnet. There’s a large fire pit area with a grill and some outdoor games for our guests at both houses to use. Buchanan Lake and Inks Lake are both 15-20 mins away. Spider Mountain is only 20 mins away as well! We live on the property and manage it so if you need anything during your stay we are happy to help! We are pet friendly but we do have a $20 pet fee if you are bringing pets.

Summary: Had a great time staying at the Bluebonnet House and exploring Inks Lake and the Hill Country. Couldn't have been better!

Summary: A small little one bedroom with kitchen & living area. Didn't really like the tv in the bedroom but the small sofa made for comfortable seating. The listing didn't mention the two steps down to the bedroom area and I think that should be added. The handrail on the wall made it acceptable. Owner had to be contacted about toilet paper and it was brought over quickly. A little noisy outside with the construction work going on next to the house and a very busy highway out front. It met out needs for a quick stay in Burnet.

Summary: I scheduled a little weekend getaway for my husband. I saw the listing and it looked cute and was close to a state park, which is what I wanted. The listing stated that the owners lived on site but it didn’t state that they were right next door. Check in was easy…but once we got inside we noticed dust and a few dead bugs in the living room. The mat on the kitchen table was also sticky. Those were things that we over looked and said would be ok. The part we could not deal with was later on that night when we returned from night fishing. We came back to the house and found not one but two scorpions in the bedroom. Our dog was going a little crazy and as we looked at the floor we saw the scorpion, then I looked up and saw another one on the wall next to my husband. We killed both of them and placed them in the trash can. We packed up our digs and our things and left right away. I texted the owner the next morning and let him know about the incident. This is the disturbing part. Not only did the owner call us liars, he stated that his wife checked the trash can and couldn’t find anything. Then he had the audacity to say that it’s Texas and we were out in the middle of the country, critters sometimes come in to get water. We asked for a refund and he stated that they were not comfortable with that and that it was our choice to leave. I found that very concerning, especially since we were only there for about 6 hours and he did not seem to care about our safety.

Summary: This was cozy little house just as advertised. It had all the amenities and was quietly off the main road. Would recommend to anyone, thanks.

Summary: This place was a perfect place for us to stay for our friends wedding at wagon springs ranch. It was very close to the venue and there were good food options nearby (storms was delicious, also a Starbucks for fast coffee). The drive to the Walmart in marble falls wasn’t too bad either. The unit was clean and suited our needs.

Summary: We spent most of our weekend in Burnet out at Lake Buchanan and it was a wonderful Memorial day trip. Our rental was very easy to check into with remote check in when it was convenient for us. It was nice to get up each morning and make coffee before we hit the lake and it was a perfect space for a small family with young children who don't mind a fold out couch. Will likely rent here again next Memorial day trip!

Summary: We booked this tiny home for spring break for our family of 5. The size was perfect for us and it had everything we needed including a washer/dryer. The property owners were very nice and easy to contact. It is close proximity to surrounding lakes and state parks that we enjoyed visiting. Will definitely stay here again!
