Positive: Very friendly staff. Excellent food..Our accommodation was comfortable and smart. . The bed was the best I've slept on.

Negative: However, the bathroom was small for the price at £160 per night.

Positive: Right by the river , the room we had was a good size . The staff were fantastic friendly and efficient nothing was too much trouble , the bar was excellent with a lot of choices , the restaurant food was lovely.would highly recommend this Inn , just a short walk from the centre of the village.

Positive: Rooms were good with a good choice of breakfast options. Food was good but more upmarket than the advertised "Pub Grub" by the Boat Inn meaning it was more expensive than pub grub prices. being dog friendly did not present any problems for guests with no animals. Room cleanliness was good with the exception of the ensuite fan extract vent which did not appear to have been cleaned for some time. Towels were of good quality and beds were comfortable.

Negative: Ensuite cleanliness could be improved (Extract Vent as above) Breakfast was made to order which was fine items (toast / butter jam) had to be requested and were not supplied automatically.

Summary: Stay was enjoyable and comfortable and would use the Boat Inn in the future
