Positive: The site is closed to Kielder which was perfect for us. The food was fantastic & the bar was well stocked. All of the staff were lovely. Breakfast deserves a mention for being so good.
Negative: For the price the room was adequate but I wouldn't want to stay for more than 1 night. Going into the bar could be quite daunting when there are a number of 'locals' all stood at the bar. The bathroom needs some work, the step into the bathroom had gaffa tape around it, tiles in the shower needed repair & it may seem a bit petty, but a toilet roll holder would be nice! Our room was next door to the bar & the TV was on the dividing wall so everything could be heard until it was turned off at night (10pm) & again when it was turned on in the morning (8am). I am not sure if work was being carried out on a room next door to.us but it sounded like someone was hammering until 9/9.30pm.

Positive: Boe Rigg was a lovely friendly place to stay. Room was well equipped and very spacious. A really comfortable space to be in. Very clean. We enjoyed the location. Rural views and very peaceful but easy access to Bellingham if needed. Also on doorstep of Kielder Water. Great stay and hope to return.

Positive: We stayed in their studio apartment & we will be back it's absolutely gorgeous! Someone has put a lot of love in to the place it is so so cosy & pretty. We went to the kielder observatory experience Boe Rigg was the perfect location We ate in the restaurant 2nd evening the food was amazing & for what it was so cheap. Took our leftover food back to the apartment with some ice cream. Very laid back & lovely people. Highly recommend this gorgeous place.

Positive: We have really enjoyed our stay at The Boe Rigg. It's in a stunning location and is in a good place to explore from. Plenty of beautiful places around. The little lake with geese is lovely and there are hens wondering about. The accommodation is very good.The bed is super comfy and wide. It was lovely and warm and the decor is lovely. It was a great size room for us and our daughter and her puppy, although a chair would have been useful. The towels are very nice, but there were no toiletries, thankfully we had some with us. The shower was great, plenty of hot water, but the tiles need some attention and just at the back of the tray, some bleach. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were really nice. The bar where you eat meant we could bring the puppy in too, which was really good. It's very quirky with a really relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for the lovely holiday. We hope to be back again soon!!
