Negative: Room on floor one. Smell of musty unclean area. Room extremely warm. Only one window would open and then the board muck was horrendous on the window and ledge

Negative: Very little. Too warm overnight unless the windows were opened, which increased noise.

Positive: Location on sea front. Had big room on second floor with big windows: super.

Negative: Staff didn’t seem happy. Shame. Little things matter: dusty lamps, wobbly lamp shades and shower head. Cheap tea, mismatched cups and saucers. Dirty windows. Disappointing breakfast: help yourself hot buffet needed refreshing.

Summary: Great view, bit tired, demotivated staff.

Positive: The hotel was beautiful, very polite staff, room was comfortable with an uninterrupted view of snowdonia range and the strait, great to wakeup to in the morning. Food was lovely. A very laid back relaxing holiday.

Negative: I couldn't fault the whole stay, what did annoy me a little was the attitude of some of the guests, people looking down their noses at others, the staff should have received medals for their calm and professional attitudes. Its not five star I get it but why certain individuals feel they have exclusivity to preferential treatment really annoys me. Well done to the team at the Bulkeley.

Positive: Finding a place to visiting + be treated so beautifully - it is very unusual. The best 3 days i've had for a very, very long time... First - the staff - then the furniture, the walls, the floors, the building - all marvellous. Even the wallpaper: amongst, there is classic William Morris etc - I enjoyed every room + was felt i had been invited - paintings, the stairs - even the superb lift + colours everywhere + a very calm mindset of all i spoke to. It is just so iconic + that old fashion delightful style which has disappearing in most places. The window in the room - to look through early in the morning at the sea…a small walk before breakfast [oh yes! great brekkie too!] A big thank you to all the people running the hotel - it is almost like a family, making one relaxed + calm Somewhere we could afford as a treat, and a place we will come back to as much as we can the words here are mainly from my passionate artist wife, Sandhy, who has become enchanted by the expedient! 👩🏼‍🎨😊 [Sandhy had a bad brain injury a few years back, so she has Aphasia. Her writing is being helped by myself, Andrew]

Negative: the shower could have been more sturdy? but still good for a speedy shower 🚿🤷🏼‍♀️😊
