Positive: Becky was very friendly and excellent communication throughout. Room was large with comfy bed and a great shower. The breakfast was really nice with local, good quality bacon.

Negative: Only slight downside is there is no bar now but Becky told us about the pub just down the road, which we walked down to and it was a friendly with a great choice of cask ales.

Positive: Excellent host, lovely clean and fresh room, linen immaculate, tea/coffee provided, free WiFi with good signal. Very comfortable bed, decent shower. Near to Calke Abbey N.Trust.

Negative: There was nothing we did not like.

Positive: Really welcoming, we arrived early but this wasn’t a problem she came straightaway and let us in and showed us around. Lovely family running it. We ate there on the evening and for breakfast both meals were good and great value for money.

Positive: The room was number 2 the smallest room but we only used it for sleeping. There are 4 rooms of different sizes. The breakfast is lovely.

Negative: Everything was fine. We asked for a shower mat and hairdryer and we received them that day. Becky the owner is lovely and very hospitable.

Summary: We would definitely stay there again and would reccomend it to anyone.

Positive: We visit Swadlincote a few times a year to visit family and we usually stay in the Premier Inn. We will in future be staying here at The Bulls Head. We found it very clean and even though the bar and restaurant had recently closed that was not an issue, as there is 2 bars, one with restaurant just down the road. The breakfast was brilliant and everything you need. Becky was friendly and chatty and very welcoming. This is why we will be staying there again. Top marks from us

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this B&B and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely—beautifully laid out, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, which made for a really relaxing stay. In the morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast, freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The location is perfect as well, set in a beautiful village that made our visit even more special. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning in the future.
