Positive: Location and was comfortable.
Negative: Towels not clean had to be washed before being used. Toilet doesn’t flush. Shower doesn’t drain, if more than one person needs a shower you’ll need to allow a good hour between use. Toaster burnt making kitchen full of smoke, there was no working smoke alarm and door wouldn’t open seemed to be rusted shut. Someone did come out and try and help but not able to resolve.
Summary: Wouldn’t use again.

Positive: Based ourselves here for 3 nights. Great location minutes from the sea front. Received clear check in instructions by text including how to use heating and TV. Lounge and bedroom generous in size and bed really comfy. Heating worked with no issues. Only used the TV in the bedroom, and that was for streaming- again, no issues. I felt safe and secure throughout the stay and the large T-Pot was a massive tick in my box. Some reviews mentioned problems with the bathroom door- it's a sliding door on rollers that need some work, and whilst it might take getting used to, by the end of the first night we had the technique nailed and had no problem. With parking permits included, The Bunkhouse has a lot going for it.
Negative: The Bunkhouse just needs a bit of TLC and, in the hands of a skilled tradesman for a week or so, it could be an exceptional little bolt hole.

Positive: The property was spacious and comfortable, well located, and dog freindly.
Negative: A coat rack or similar near the front door would be helpful if the cloak cupboard is to be kept locked. The information pack is out of date in some respects, and there are no instructions for how to turn the heating on/off.
Summary: We enjoyed staying at the bunkhouse, it suited our needs very well.

Negative: Sofa bed was a little hard and place smelt a little musty on arrival, perhaps because it’s a basement. Windows left open would help.

Positive: Absolutely loved the bunkhouse beautiful all round ❤️ was very easy to get to destinations from the bunkhouse, bed was comfy loved the fact I was able to cook meals and wash clothes I would definitely recommend this stay to others , the host is fantastic 😀 always kept in touch always asked how we were if I had any questions they were answered all round 10 out of 10
